Midnight Shibari

Midnight Shibari is a medical professional and long-standing member of the Michigan kink community. Based in the Detroit area, he has served as both an educator and performer of Shibari, presenting at events such as Boundless in Detroit, MI and the Summer Michigan Rope Conference (SMIRC). Combining his medical expertise with his passion for rope, Midnight emphasizes safety, informed consent, and body awareness in every class. His teaching often explores both the intensity and artistry of sadistic and torture-style ties, as well as more technical forms and suspension sequences. Through mindful, safety-focused techniques, he helps participants explore their limits with confidence, care, and plenty of room for laughter and connection.
Emily
She/Her
I_am_Her , or Emily, is a rope bottom and submissive who has been a member of the Detroit kink community since 2022. Leaning heavily into sadistic and challenging rope has helped mold her Shibari journey and growth as a rope bottom. She has been a local educator in Detroit and has presented at Boundless Detroit Symposium 2025. She is also a mental health advocate and her spiritual nature makes energy play her main way to connect with others on all levels. As an exhibitionist she thrives on public events and meeting other like minded individuals on their kink journey. Kindness is her religion and kink is her passion.
